National Flyers leaflet distribution

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody has heard of, or worked for National Flyers? They are a leaflet distribution company and I received an email from them today saying I had been accepted for the job but I first needed to send them £35 to pay for a GPS tracker and uniform (which appears to be just a t-shirt). Seems quite steep to me, the £35, and the word 'scam' keeps going round in my head. Has anybody here had any dealings with them, and does the £35 upfront fee seem reasonable?

I have heard of National Flyers, they are a fraudulent organisation. Please do not be as foolish as I and DO NOT REGISTER WITH THEM, PAY THEM ANYTHING OR GIVE THEM ANY ATTENTION.

I had a bit of a run in with National Flyers a couple of months ago. They copied mine and a few other peoples websites word for word and pasted it on their sites. I made a fair bit of noise about this and eventually I received an email from them explaining that they were a website company whose practice is to make a website and then find a company to sell it to. They eventually took of all my content.

It all smells very dodgy.

Wouldn't accept any job if it told me to pay them. I'd stay away if I was you...
