Hi there.

It's really difficult to provide guidance on this one without more information. Marketing is essentially meant to build relationships and trust. So, yes, I think it could help.

It sounds as though you're currently promoting through Google Adwords/PPC. Has your site also been optimised for natural search? Over the long haul, this will allow you to (ideally) reduce your PPC spend. I'm not an SEO expert, but I know that others on this forum are and would be happy to help you.

In the shorter term, would also suggest that your activity on forums that brides or their friends may visit for ideas and advice could also help to push traffic to your service. Another idea is to partner with other vendors in order to develop a 'dream hen party weekend' contest. Then, you could use this with online PR, online forum participation, etc in order to [hopefully] garner some attention for your services amongst those who register to win.

Your question mentioned also providing your services to clubs and bars? This is slightly different to what I believe to be your current direct approach. What types of clubs/businesses would contract to you for this service instead of hiring in their own talent?

My best--and hope this helps!

If you know who your prospects are, the next question is, what do you want to happen?

Do you want a face to face meeting with them.

If so, I'd consider sending them a fun piece of direct mail (maybe call them first to get permission - given the nature of your business), then follow up with a call to try to arrange a meeting.

Hi,

It's interesting that I stumbled on this post after booking "Butlers in the Buff" for a girls weekend away in December. I didn't make the booking, but I know the friend that did used a Google search and then went with the company who had the best testimonials and reviews.

Once people have used your service make it quick, easy and simple for them to review your service; not only are these reviews a great marketing tool, but they also give you a great way to see how to improve your service.

I hope that helps,

Susan

I have tried a similar thing with newspapers and online press with no luck - I am currently working with a PR Agency called Harvey and Hugo - if you google them they do pay as you go marketing and PR - so basically if you get no news coverage you pay nothing.

The lady you need to talk to is Charlotte Nicholes - Good Luck

How about something to remind people about you when they step away from the computer?

Something like a heat sensitive mug which reveals an image of the butler when you pour in hot water or a pen with a floating image would provide a regular reminder, or a desktop calendar featuring your favourite butlers!

Try internet Marketing. That will help you with organic SEOand bring a lot more customers & sales

------------
Internet Marketing

good directories are important for links... I guess just continue persevering

--------------------------
Portrait Photographers

Social media is very important but you have to have a good conversation going...otherwise it is not worth bothering with.

-----------------------
Fashion Photographers | Actors Headshots | Corporate Photographers

SEO could be alternative long-plan way to go.

-----------------
Logo Design

Hmmmm, am noticing a bit of a theme here you keep posting quite nonsense posts with a different link in your signature.... sure fire way to annoy people on here.... and not the greatest way to endear people to your service of "internet marketing and SEO"

Hi
Another suggestion (from someone who has used them before and is cautious), put all your contact details on your website, including an address (even if it's a PO Box) and your phone numbers, not just a mobile. I trawled through loads earlier this year to find one as I'm cautious of giving my credit card info to a company that has nothing bar an email address and mobile number.
If possible, put photos of the boys up and the areas they cover. That way, the company or individual booking can choose who they want. I found a few companies that did this, but none of them had contact info (back to square one).
With Christmas party season soon to be upon us, now is your time for some clever marketing to bars and female groups on their girlie nights out.
Good luck!

Be Known PR

A couple of other ideas for you that should cost you no more that the salary of your butlers:

- Try setting up a public 'stunt' that will get you some media attention (the more controversial the better, but best to stay on the right side of the law).

- Look to get in touch with the organisers of high profile launch events or celeb parties and offer to provide them with butlers for the evening FOC.
