Its the smell of the coolant that gets me ,Castrol R has the same effect.

You can tell who the real men on the forum are as they immediately come out of the woodwork to talk about smells when machines are mentioned.

I come from a long line of precision engineers and often have a quick sniff of my grandads old mallet that I have in the garage. The wood and hide spent about 30 years soaking up 'the smell' and it takes me straight back to going to work with dad in the school holidays to go and have a go on the Lathe.:redface:
