I want to wipe my Mac mini and reload it back to the day I bought it.

I’ve got excel and windows installed. Will I be able to reinstall it if I don’t have the activation/licence code. ( I think I purchased it online years ago)

is there a way to get the licence info off my Mac before I wipe it ?

If you had office 2011 or later installed you need the licence key or subscription account. Same goes for that crapy time machine restore. Key can't be extracted from the Osx since office 2011 or later. Only way for reinstall is access to original purchase via app store older versions or office.com for newer ones. Site note office 2013 or later on Windows key is encrypted and can't be retrieved. Gotta love people providing poor advice and chasing ghosts.
