    Good afternoon everybody,

Basically as per title. I have contacted many manufacturers, but their MOQ`s are huge for me at this stage. I require 2000-5000 per product.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I did check them out, but I get a feeling they are importers from Asia, rather than UK manufacturer. Hence didn`t contact them.

You may find any manufacturer having huge MOQ. Buying from a middleman means smaller quantities as they deal with the huge MOQ between dozens of their customers.

There is a human health on the line, I`m a bit scared from buying off middleman who did not manufacture pill himself. Can they guarantee quality of product?

Interesting take on the issue of quality.

Can a customer buying from you have the same guarantee from the same issue? You are no different than the middleman as far as a customer is concerned.

Most of what you eat or use you will be buying from middlemen unless buying from a farm that grows everything they sell on site. Can they guarantee quality of product?

If the issue is item quality then do your own quality checks or have someone you trust / pay to do the checks for you. You will have samples?

You say 'products' as though you're looking for more than one. Have you tried asking if you can mix and match. For instance a company called G&G Food supplies of East Grinstead (sorry can't post a link but a google search should find them) say their MOQ is 30000 but at 5000 per product thats only six different types.

Yes, vitamins like A, all B`s, C, D, E, minerals, fish oil etc. I did contact them, they responded:

The minimum order is 30,000 capsules per product. The encapsulation machines require a weight of powder in order to operate, so there is no way to lower these amounts

By a very circuituitous route, via alibaba (specifying only UK suppliers) I've found a company that might fit your requirements. They're in Ballyclare Northern Ireland and are called Volt Retail Ltd. t/a Wholesale Diet Supplements, if you put their trading name all together as one word and add dot co dot uk to the end you will find their website. They seem to offer white label suppliments, manufactured in the UK to ISO 9001 standards. With low MOQ's. Of course that will mean a higher price but I assume you're okay with that?

The above is all I know about them, this was done purely on a web search and a bit of lateral thinking. Up to you to do your due dilligence on them.

Only other thought is if china traders will sell samples would it be possible to persuade the high MOQ suppliers in this country to do the same, after all they can't expect you to buy 10,000 tablets on spec with no idea of quality can they. They surely must have such a mechanism in place.

Thank you! I have visited their website before, but having no real address and no phone number on webpage did put me off emailing them.
