Can anyone PM me Gary's mobile number please (Creospace)? It's going to be difficult to phone him when I get to London without it :)

Make that plural for some people...

Left Duane heading off to find somewhere to continue drinking with Andy :)

Excellent night. Very good speakers (Tin, it really, really was very good) and great to meet up with some of the regulars. (Bit disappointed that Keith's been lying to us all this time...he's not a grumpy old man at all, he's a grumpy younger man.)

I have photos! I'll get them sorted later today. Sadly I think we were all pretty sober when they were taken ;) I think I may even have one of Kent Manufacturer! I can report that he is a real person - a very nice gentleman in fact.

Look forward to the next get together - you should all come along, it's quite special to meet up with people you've never met but have been in touch with for a few years.

Just remembered the biggest piece of gossip about last night...Keith was drinking coffee when I got there!!

Sat on the train on the way home, the morning after the event.

Was incredibly good fun and there were loads more people than I expected. Fortunately, no one heckled or threw any food at me whilst presenting and the chance to meet loads of UKBF'ers was absolutely fantastic.

I think i left the bar at about 1pm to get taxi home and still some people were going strong.

I now have to sit and decipher my scribbled handwriting about Ray's excellent presentation so I can formally present it to the boss, i.e. Jilly when i get to the office.

Doubtful I know, but If anyone wants a copy of the presentation I waffled and mumbled through, drop me an email.

Finally, big thanks to Duane for organising such a cracking event. I think we should lobby Sift to organise more UKBF get-togethers as it really is worthwhile, maybe across various parts of the UK.

I am surprisingly chipper this morning... I think it was because I fell back onto my emergency "don't get a hangover drink" of cider. Oooh Ar!

Agree that it was an excellent night.

Most informative...learnt more in a couple of hours than you could in a week by reading a book. Thanks a million guys.

Good to put faces to "handles" as well. Apologies to those who I did not get to speak to.

    Heres to the next one:)

Good morning, some of us had to catch a train home so unfortunately left the 'hard core' at 11 o'clock, looking for another watering hole after they kicked us outta the first one;)

Had a brilliant time and in such salubrious surroundings, the venue was very posh, poncy sarnies, wine and beer for all:eek:

Thank you to Duane for organising it.

Andy and Ray both gave excellent presentations, I now know how to do a press release and a lot of holes in my SEO knowledge have been plugged, thank you guys, your time and effort is appreciated.

Meeting UKBF'ers is great, you lot are normal:eek: Well most of you:p

So much to learn from just chatting to people about how they run their businesses, brilliant.

The untruths and slanderous rumours about me drinking coffee are, all untrue and will be denied with the utmost furtherance;)

Is that another made up word Keith?

Have to wonder why Andy gave away so many good tips and secrets - thank you anyway! Both he and Ray were very modest in their presentations. They're both obviously top in their respective games but conveyed their 'lessons' in such a way that everyone felt confident enough to ask questions.

Forgot to say thank you to Duane too, so thank you. Think we all had a brilliant time.
