Limited Companies and PO Boxes

Hey there,

Can I use a PO Box when registering a Ltd company? Also, forgive me for being a bit thick on the subject but would it just be a case of collecting the mail from the post office each morning?

I don't think you can but I'm not entirely sure. You do need to register a place of residence or work when forming a Limited company so I can't see how you could register the PO box alongside it.

Could be wrong though, I probably am.

You can use a PO Box address ONLY if you also provide the full valid postal address that the PO Box relates to. Neither can you use a PO Box only for the officers addresses without a privacy order.

With PO Boxes, to answer your next question, you can either collect the post from the local delivery office or (last time I checked) you can have it delivered to you for an extra £50 a year.

Either way, it is a legal requirement on the Post Office's part to provide an address for a PO Box!
