Hi - can anyone tell me if the registered address of a company is the same as their actual address does it need to be written on the letterheads seperately and stating that it's the registered address?

No your registered address can be different than your 'actual' address.

take for example a LTD company which is registered somewhere in London - they may well have a number of offices dotted all over the country, but their main coimpany 'registered' address is still the London one.

I think (feel free to correct me if I am wrong) that both addresses need to be shown on letterheads if it is a LTD. Usually the 'registered' address would be on a footnote at the bottom of the letterhead page.

Hiya, thanks for that - I know that the registered address can be different, but if they do happen to be the same does it have to be written twice, or does it have to just state it's the registered address?

    Hi Jilly,

I remember doing some research into this before - if I can find what I read at the time Ill post it here.

From what I remember if its the same, you dont have to write it twice. As long as its clear that it is your registered address.
