Keyboard and Dreamweaver

Hi,
on a new box, word, notepad etc all run the UK keyboard, (as configured on installation). But DW insists on the US keyboard so @ is " and so on.
XP pro, DW Mx 2004, BUT Office 2007 beta. Haven't noticed any other bugs(yet) in Office 2007.
Clues please.

Mmmm, no one knows huh? I uninstalled DW and reinstalled and this seems to have worked.
Its always nice to know why though..
Still: working is good.

I had a look at dreamweaver but couldn't see anything that would affect that.

Glad it is working for you now, saves alot of guessing

Haven't got a clue if I've got a UK or US keyboard, it came with the computer package when I bought it ... women and technology ... sorry :redface:

I may have understood you wrong ... sorry if I have.

You switch your keyboard to US or UK when you install windows; it's a software option. I'm not sure where the setting is after windows is installed. Maybe when you install Dreamweaver it gave the option of UK or US I get that option on instalation of other applications for the spell checker.

Hi

You can change the language on windows xp by clicking Start/Control Panel/Regional and Language Options and then setting everything on Regional options and Advanced tabs to United Kindom.

Then on the Languages Tab click Details and Set United Kingdom as default language.

That should do it
