We are currently purchasing our IT and computer consumables from stationery suppliers and other non-specialist suppliers and therefore not getting best prices/discounts.

We spend c£20k+ on leads and cables, chargers, connectors, splitters, privacy screens, batteries etc, etc. This excludes toners and cartridges.

Can anyone recommend a specialist supplier please? A friend uses CPC.co.uk but does not recommend them as they don't give discounts apparently.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you.

I found Amazon for most IT stuff and ebuyer the cheapest. Amazon offers a business account and even without any discount they com in cheaper. The margins in pc goods are very lo hence you would not get big discounts.

Over the years we found the best practice is to purchase them from various suppliers as no single one can do everything right. In the beginning we only use ebuyer but then they got greedy and teh RMA process becoming more painful to useless with returns.
Currently we only use Amazon, CPC and ebay for almost everything we need and we purchase around £40k of goods between them.

@hikiwari Hi, although we can't help with your IT/Computer hardware requirements, do give us a shout if you want any quotes for Printer ink or toner. I'm happy to look at discounts and/or trade accounts etc...

As an IT company our-self, we use various suppliers - unfortunately to procure effectively there is not a one stop shop, we generally use 3 providers for peripherals (we buy actual laptops/desktops/monitors via IT distribution):
    • broadbandbuyer.com - Great for Cabling and networking equipment and have a trade account with noticeable discounts. Network cables with connectors at each end start at just 21p !!!!!!!
    • Amazon.co.uk - Great for free next day delivery (with annual subscription) and a wide range of stock.
    • viking-direct.co.uk - Great for stationary, privacy screens, laptop risers, printer ink etc.
If you are using Google / Microsoft email systems, send me a message, we can generally resell this licensing cheaper than going direct!

    I hope this helps!

Sorry, a bit late in replying - check out CCL, they're a pretty good all round supplier. they do trade accounts too which offer better prices, but the price breaks won't be massive as there's little margin on most IT products these days.
