I am looking at starting a networking company whereby i get people doing business together all over the world.

Try BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) or SEO/SEM. You only need to have a PC and a fast internet connection.

John, till the end of this year I'm going to set up an online music store.

I'm going to propose to customers significantly low prices and high quality music.

Interesting, I once heard the theory of setting up an international business FROM 'HOME' under 4 flags (COUNTRIES). There is the first flag which is where you operate but have no customers. The second flag is where you bank and have no customers .The third flag is where you keep your profits and have no customers.The fourth flag(s) are where your customers are . I was never sure what the theory meant but imagine it to be some form of ruse against the authorities...Anyone know more on this ?

I think it's a good idea to build up an online forum for businessmen from all over the world where forum users (businessmen) will be able to post their offers. For example, a USA based businessman is looking a partner in Philipins...

I have searched on google for hours and could not find this kind of forum. Those forums which have similar profile to this idea, do not permit their users post their offers (like UKBF).

They do have different packages, so you may choose the mot appropriate for you.
