Everything about that Company gets my vote ;)

Apart from the convenience of living in this country, I cannot see how or why any manufacturing business of a moderate size could possibly continue and sustain growth by having its factories based here that cater not just for a domestic market, but for a global market sector. There's just too many prohibiting factors, especially so for Dyson under what was at the time heavily burdened by labour's tax, incompetence and burocracy.

Considering that Dyson reinvests the majority of its profits back into its research program for new technologies and designs (second biggest patent applications second only to Rolls Royce), it's not surprising they uppped sticks abroard. It wasn't the cost of direct labour that strangled the companies future growth as many people think, it obviously didn't help, but more a case of, as with the many other companies looking to invest here, it was and is the British tax burden that will always prevents it from happening - long term.

How many international companies are based in the UK which caters for a global market?
or more to the point... Why should they?
