Importing from outside of the UK

I asked if anyone had imported from outside the UK and wondered the following:

• How did you find your supplier?
• How did you pay the supplier?
• How did you arrange shipments?

All these questions to name a few.

Dave from Hybred computers said the following:

Best tip I can give you is be careful, there are more fake companies then real ones although as long as you stay away from popular electronics you'll be fine.

I wonder if anyone else had any ideas or comments?

Payment : Normally T/T = Bank Transfer

Shipping : Normally organised by the supplier

Goto www.thewholesaleforums.co.uk it is full of people who import. You will get better/quicker answers there than asking here IMO.
