Hello,

I am a student of Business and Management, I have an idea about my company. I know the product that I want to sell, but i would like that other young people advise me the pros and cons of strarting up mi own bussines or maybe if it is better to start working for other person to take experience.

Antonio,

Business is all about taking risks.

You may know of some of the risks that may affect your idea but it’s always good to talk to someone who has undergone that process.

What you definitely need to understand is your reasons for starting up on your own. Is it financial, flexibility, Can't work with anyone else

I am sure that many guys here have asked the same question when they started up.

I am always willing to listen and share experience.

Hi Antonio,

Congrats on your idea for your own business. Wishing you all the best.

I consider myself relatively young (not giving away my age though!), and I was a graduate of Business Administration and Marketing Comms. I gained experience by working while studying, and then working (in the corporate world) after graduation for some years, before branching out on my own.

Experience is always important, but levels vary depending on what you are planning to do. Confidence in your own abilities, commitment, determination and hard work are just as important though, and will help to get you far.

If you advise a little about your business idea, I can see what advice I can give you/share about my own experiences. If you're not comfortable to share your exact business idea on the forum, drop me a private message or e-mail me from my website.

Regards...
Essence.

Hi Antonio,

Everyone here has it right down to a Tee.

Its about our own motivation and confidence. If you believe in your idea, do you research, plan our business then its possible that you will succeed and its that very possibility that makes things work!

Hi Antonio.
Self belief is a key to success.
Why not try to commence on a part-time basis whilst working for an employer either full-time or part-time? This way you can pursue your dream and keep a steady income stream coming in. There are many part-time afternoon or night shift jobs that will then give you time during the day to follow up leads, canvass etc.

Cheers, Nigel
