... but... what team do you support?

Not being interested in the slightest about football, I find it mildly amusing to see the rifts between so called Mackems and Geordies, and the extremes supporters will go to to show their loyalty.

So, without causing divisions, what team do you support?!

What cracks me up about football fans is how seriously they take it. If their team loses, it's like actual lives have been lost. If it wins, it's like they personally found a cure for cancer.

    It's. Just. A. Game.

(Not a football fan, obviously, but I don't mind the odd bit of rugby union).

Portsmouth, fortunately enough. Not a big football fan these days but still good to see them doing well.

Barnsley. We so should have been in the final. :(

Remember the FA Cup match against us in '98? We were put down to 8 men. I mean really, what does a team have to do to get 3 men sent off - it wasn't even a bad match, and we only lost 3-1 in the end. '98 was when we knocked both Man U (3-2) and Tottenham (3-1) out - we seem to be good at that, but bugger all else.

I totally agree with debidoo...a game involving kicking a pigs bladder round a field....but I do like a bit of Formula One...now THAT's what I call sport...(eeeek, I'm just ducking to avoid all the empty McD boxes being thrown at me!!!!)

NO one - and thankfully my other half doesn't like football either, it's always amusing to watch him try to blag his way through when another man starts talking football to him!
