    Hi Mel,
if you did not have sufficient cleared funds in PayPal account you will need to wait for Paypal to take the funds from your bank or credit card, then transfer the funds to the UKBF Paypal account, and then the software will automatically upgrade your account.
This is actually quite common, you'll need to allow about a week for the money to clear on the UKBF Paypal account.

In that case Sift will need to check the Paypal account and see if the funds have indeed cleared. This does happen when funds haven't cleared instantly, and bank funding is the most common reason. If the funds have cleared then they can upgrade your account manually, but if the funds have not cleared then they will need to wait for the Paypal/vBulletin process to do it automatically.
I've just emailed the guys about this thread for them to take a look.

Hello, I paid via Paypal yesterday but for some reason I have not been automatically upgraded?
    Regards
    Mel Page

I did just like you and it was swiftly processed and my membership account was duly activated...within minutes...even though, I felt it was like seconds!!!

Anyway, as the post prior to mine indicated, Darren has confirmed and I was equally glad, the same helpful Darren that prompted me with a pointer, acted promptly too with a recent request on another smallish issue...and I like that show of competency here... I have gain confidence in this when he took care of matters within a moments notice.

This is the way I or anyone signing up to upgrade a status, wants to experience... and see on any issues raised...together Darren, we can make it further...

I can count on you for sure to have things straightened out when needed for improvement.

As for Mel, I hope your FULL membership to UKBF is a promising one.....,

    there!

Yes, Darren has been my faith & inspiration since I dropped in here "by sheer fluke" and he has shown what it takes to be a leader in this Forum...not getting too "entwined" with all the discussions & some, pretty irrelevant issues others seem to be carried away with and thus neglecting members calls for help as newbies to this fabulous Forum.

I leave here a link, that you can benefit immensely from which in turn, serves both you and esp. your customer/clientèle base resorting to your business... both locally and internationally...incredible this is...:D

This is FREE, no one is gaining any referral or residual income by joining and mobile users should gain more value from this accessibility...its about time we stop those Mobile Operators fleecing our monies with exorbitant rates!!!

Cheers and all the best and if you need anything for travelling, great hotels for comfy rates...let me know!
