Gilly Good luck with it. Your flyer covers most of the important points but if I'm picky I would have got it properly designed - it doesn't cost that much and I would have waited till I knew what day you were opening and had a gala launch with discounts to give yourself a kick start.

By the way your sled dogs look absolutely amazing. It is one thing I regret, never having got into dog sledding, but Top Hat absolutely put his foot down and said no. I was brought up with working farm dogs so have some understanding of what a 'proper' dog is about. I'm very envious.

For a very small fee compared to most designers I would probably be able to re-design that flyer for you on a one off friendly job.

I feel confident enough to do so now with my media experience and Graphics A-level studies

Either way good job, another happy story.

They are Alaskan Malamutes.....long distance freighting dogs....Huskies are short distance sprinters and a lot smaller:) Thanks for the kind comments and constructive criticism everyone, which I will bear in mind for the future. Gonna roll with what we have right now:D

Hi, Just about to complete my second week in the shop! Its very hard work physically and mentally but Im loving it and its a steady start.:) Im working longer hours than when I worked for the Council but its much preferable. Have started to add to the website....I know its not slick and professional but its early days and conveys a welcome. People are coming in as a response to the flyers....we spent a day in the town centre with the malamutes.....they had their back packs on stuffed with flyers and we handed them out and chatted to people about the shop and dog sledding. Thanks for your well wishes:)
