I don't understand people who need to track the ranking of a website. If you want to know average positions (keywords, pages, in countries) you can use services of search engines (Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools). That's all. There is no tool that can track "ranking".
Several tools out there but semrush is a tool of choice.
If you know what keywords you are targeting and to rank your website you need to do an On-page and Off-page optimization for your website. Google Analytics will tell you the traffic of website pages and posts. Ahrefs or SemRush are the best tools used to track your SEO activity or other things.
Many tools can be used, do you want free or paid ones? Just google, you can find a list of sites.
Ahref doesn't show the exact results all the time
None of them will. All you get is best guess.
You can't track the ranking of a website because Google doesn't rank websites.
Ahrefs and SEMRush would be one of the best tool to track your website's rankings and if you want a real time rankings of your keywords I would suggest searching it manually in google results.

You can link your Google Analytics with Google Search Console, and it will show you the search queries for which your website is ranking somewhere on Google. You can filter the keywords with high impressions. Check where your website is ranking for those keywords and start working on them. Boost your existing pages with those search queries and update your content. Don’t forget link building.
