I have reformatted both my laptops. I now want to store my documents in one and want it to be accessed by the second one when I am not here. (The main laptop A will be connected to internet when I am not here).

How do I set it up? I can either use Office 2007 or 2010.

I get the feeling you are talking about remote access!

Have a look at teamviewer or realVNC (there are several VNC flavours).

Otherwise, the likes of google docs (my favourite) or MSN's service (skydrive?) would do a good job.

If you want to be able to access your desk computer whilst out of the office (ie all the programs, files etc) then go with GoToMyPC, Teamviewer or even MSN's service. These all connect you to your PC and you work on it as if you were sat at your desk.

If all you need access to is your files then take a look at SugarSync or JungleDisk. These keep a copy of your files on your computer, a copy on 'the cloud' and can then synchronised to your laptop that you take out and about.
