A potential client in Asia is considering working with us on a long term contract basis. But worry on the stability of our company and worry that one day we might close down and no one will maintain their software.

What is the best way to convince them?

We face that situation every single day of the year in our line of business almost all our clients are abroad and outside of Europe, the best way e have come up with is a virtual leaflet with all our current clients, basic break down of our turn over and profits over the past years etc, and last and this is the most important thing to consider, Asian and African They love to see who they are dealing with so Basically either invite them to your offices in the UK or actually pay them a PERSONAL visit to thier offices it will go a long way.

No worries! Take it as an opportunity and not as a problem. You should present your client with your existing clientèle and let them know how deeply you have roots! Why don't you try FB fan page.

When posed with this question, I often direct prospects to visit my business Fan page. it's helpful in building trust as there they see what we are made of, what we are up to and what's running inside our walls!
