This is step-by-step guide how migrate from Magento 1 to Magento 2 you can find on the MageWorkshop's site about migration process. The guide was compiled team of developers. It is not full info. It will usefull if you have tech knowledge.
    The main steps:
    • Gather Information
    • Analyze your current M1
    • Plan customization
    • Prepare server
    • Prepare plan
    • Staging deployment
    • Transfer data
    • Test staging server
    • Prepare production
    • Test production
    • Release to production
    • After release activitie

The average migration time (and cost) are 250-300 hours. The cost of one hours depends on developers (where they from, the experience and insolence).

Please, close attention should be paid to the SEO details, clear database, hosting.

    Sorry ;)
Because now, the merchants often use the migration services available in the market to simplify the task. Themes migration, Extension migration, Ecommerce data migration ...
Eg. Use cart migration service provided by next-cart allows migrate: Categories, Products, Customers, Orders... quick and exactly, no downtime for source store

    Thank you.

It was idea my former boss to create the landing page to promote Magento migration service. I criticized this idea. That is why I took the experiment to ensure that I was wrong. Unfortunately I was right.
