How do you use Caffeine to aid business productivity?

I have heard that many American influenced/owned companies supply free coffee for all staff.

No doubt its proven somewhere to aid productivity.

My hubby works night shift one week in a month. It doesn't matter how many gallons of coffee he drinks he feels tired all of the time! Pro Plus doesn't help him either. Only the pillow at 0730hrs!

I once had to work for 3 days and 2 nights solid with no sleep due to server problems. I kept going by drinking coffee known as "Rocket Fuel". Comes in a red jar and is pure caffeine!

I drink a lot of coke, and on rare occasions Coffee with proplus mixed in. Does the trick.

I seem to do an all-nighter (8am Thursday through to 9pm Friday) about once a month. I always manage to clear a whole load of work in the wee hours when the phones aren't ringing. I then sleep for about 12 hours - I'm tired most of Saturday but by Monday I've fully recovered. I highly reccommend it to anyone that has too much work to do. Unless they are operating machinery ofcourse : )

I'm a techie not a sales person, but after being awake about 20 hours I get possessed by a short Geordie bloke with a limp called Dave (the bloke that is, not the limp) who writes very good sales copy. Weird.

At a minimum, US companies have a jug of coffee brewing all day. Nowadays, it's usual to have a selection of gourmet coffees, herbal teas, popcorn, and occasional ice cream - all free of charge. I doubt that interview candidates would accept a position without free coffee!

Personally, I can't take caffeine any more. I used to drink a lot of coffee, but now my heart starts racing the moment I have the tiniest drop. I still work very long hours, though, and occasional all-nighters. Instead of drinking coffee, I simply set the coffee machine going and throw away the results. The latest hi-tech machines are so complex that I have to be awake enough to figure out how they work. It's worse than trying to operate a VCR without a remote control

Surely with all the money you're making (you international jet-setter, you) you can 'upgrade' to a DVD? They've been out for a few years now, and are quite simple to operate. I know that's so 'cause my wife can use it!

The video game player doubles as a DVD player, so I have to ask my children how to operate that one.

We watch VCR tapes as much as DVDs. Over the years, my wife has purchased various items from the Beeb: Dad's Army, All Creatures Great and Small, some Carry On and Norman Wisdom films. For my birthday, she recently purchased more episodes of Only Fools and Horses.

I get to laugh out loud at British humour. American humour is a complete mystery to me.
