    Hi,
An Indian supplier, a PVT company which I have been dealing with and have dealt with previously sent me 1/2 my order with the promise of sending the rest in due course. If I have to chase to get my money back, can anyone tell me the best course of action for India.

    Thank you in advance

You have no chance. The Indian legal system is full of rogues and the judicial system will take decades at great expense.

You can file fraud case through your country's legal system. But Indian legal system is slow in taking actions hence it will take lot of efforts and time to get justice.

If it was me then I'd be looking at the amount involved first. Under 10,000GBP then forget it.

500,00GBP then you need to think harder.

I've dealt with the Indian system in the past: all I can say is that it is a very curious place!

Yes you file a complaint against the company in your country and if you won the suite you will get back the money and the company is charged for fraudulent practice. You can also complain the indian authority by online filing the complaint.
