    Hi!
I was wanting to do a search for PHP but couldn't as the forum has a minimum search word length that is longer than 3 characters. Given that most of us are using, are looking to use or will end up using a website that's PHP based, this limitation is unfortunate :) Would it be possible to update the minimum length to be 3 characters?

A couple of things, firstly why not search php with the phrase you are interested in searching in, at least then you will get a more specific query. Job done.

Also whilst PHP is currently the biggest market share, there are differing opinions whether it's the future. My personal perspective is that it's had it's day and NodeJS and Python will slowly take it's share..

Already tried that however I didn't use quotes for an exact phrase match. Wrapping with quotes works, though sometimes it's more efficient to start with the most relevant word or TLA such as VAT, TAX, ROI, KPI, CTR, CRM, SEO, and then refine from there. Even with quotes, some longer phrases still won't work, such as "VAT or TAX", or "how to pay vat", "how do you pay tax", "how can I pay tax". etc. You get the gist :)

Why are you searching for PHP? What is it you are looking for?

Thanks for asking. Was just searching to see whether there was much web tech related discussion (tend to use WHT but it's not so business oriented and not UK centric). Only asking about 3 letter searches here though and don't want to break the "Stay on Topic" rule!

There is very little PHP discussion here. Most of the questions asked aren't that technical, they tend to be more of the 'can I do X with my website' or 'I post every day on facebook but my site still isn't ranking'.
