    Windows or Linux?
    Cheap or don't-mind-paying-for-reliable?
    Shared or dedicated?

    http://markethosting.co.uk are very good

Depending on what your intended use is you need to know from a more targetted SEO point of view whether the host is putting you on a UK, US or other server.

If you want good support and reliable servers then www.prohostgold.com is a good company. They are small enough to give a personal service but large enough to cope with whatever you need.

    Hope this helps :)

    LOL
How can anyone recommend a host without knowing what needs hosting

a 4 page brochure site is different to a joomla site, is different to a video streaming site, is different to a social networking site

Its a bit like saying I want some transport, can anyone recomend anything... the recommendations being scooters, bikes, trucks cars and F1 racing cars and jet planes

I think most people know my website better than I do.

I wish it where a bit simpler (a lot of con's) by the time I have finished I will be able to make my own site. Lol

Anyway the people on Business forum have been really helpful and that is why I am a now full member long live UKBF.

I have also take note of Shaun's requirements before making a personal recommendation so please try and give other regular posters on here a bit of credit.

Another vote for CS New Media.

I moved a couple of sites onto their hosting earlier this year after reading good reviews here, the service has been outstanding and Carl is a pleasure to deal with.
