Is it possible to hide / redact a LTD companies registered address on the public companies house record if the registered address is the home address of one of the directors ?

Instead set up a different address to use for the registered address of the company. With capacity to forward mail on to you.
Directors of course still have to provide whatever details anyway.

Often the registered address of a limited company is the accountants, when you next visit them you will see a list of companies registered near the door of your accountants

Bear in mind though, not much point in changing address (if it's just so yours won't show) as Companies House will show the change of address (and the previous address).
