help - lost files

I dont know how but all my files on my PC version of my website have gone - whilst most are backed up online a lot were only on my PC.

I have checked the recycle bin and whilst there are a lot of files there which I have been deleting the website ones arent. How can I recover these files so I dont lose a few days of work?

I suppose it depends on whether they have been deleted or just miss-filed. Use file search (or better, Google Desktop) to find missplaced files. But you'll need a recovery programme to get deleted files back.
