That really is the question
Bearing in mind limited technical ability
You can add as many businesses as you want...
To enlarge the question slightly. how can I add another business?
Can you see this?
By the way, I should clarify, when I say you can add as many businesses as you want, there is a limit per account, I believe it set at 100 currently.
@zigojacko is that adding another location for the same business (ie: a branch), rather than a different business.
It is possible, as a friend moved premises, and I've somehow ended up with their business in our account when I updated their address... can't tell you how I did it!
'Add a location' is where you add a new business or branches of same business to your account.
Yes, a lot of businesses go round in circles trying to navigate round the Google maze...
Will take a look late AM.
Suddenly busy (which is nice!)
Thank you @zigojacko It really was that easy.
Very surprise by how racist/sexist their prompts are!
Really? Like what?
Google are generally very woke: their image recognition service will no longer identify people's sex because "gender is not related to appearance", and they have banned the use of terms like "sanity check" even internally.
Specifically, when asking for business attributes, the first suggestion was 'female led'.
Alswhere it suggested 'Black business'. Of course it might have been aimed at Guinness retailers, but I suspect not.
Ah, woke racism and sexism together with American cultural colonialism.
I had to look it up, but agree!
I can't rid of the female led thing.
I know I'm a b*tch at times, but the algorithms can't be that clever!
Yes, you can add a second business to Google My Business. You need to add the location of a totally new business from the locations. Google will ask you to verify the business through code sent to your postal address.
