Free recruitment software

Can anybody point me towards a free recruitment software for start up agencies to use

Preferably a downloaded version, not web based

I came across Chameleon but its a little slow

Everything else you have to pay for

There are many recruitment software packages out there. We have tried some of them and found that you need to be very careful at demo as you one supplier we used were unable to meet our requirements despite promising otherwise.

Check out software which i have recently been recommended too. Recruitbuddy or i believe the email is helpdesk at recruitbuddy comThey let me pay montly for the service and you even get 14days FREE. Not only do i have my own talent pool where i can rate candidates but i have my own website, my own mobile site!!! and auto email set up. I managed to get it for £175 a month. I would easily be looking at a few grand for this service. I can highly recommend.

There are probably a few free versions out there which can be upgraded at a cost at a later stage. Have you tried good old Google?

Any software that is worth it's weight in the recruitment industry you're going to have to pay for. The better your infrastructure the smoother your operations will be.
