Im very sceptical of franchises in general and cant imagine id ever recommend anyone buys one but I like the story.
    - I wouldnt put the logos of previous companies
    - Regarding the expected earnings. What is this based on? I don't believe it.
    - What are the ongoing franchise fees?

    Cheers,

    Matt

I would say the current prospectus is selling a 'business in a box' rather than a franchise opportunity. Which is fine, but it's not a franchise offering.

You haven't stated anywhere, the benefits of being part of the franchise?

It comes across purely as a 5 day training programme, with equipment for 13k + VAT.

Best of luck, but not something I would consider. The market is very easy to get into, very low set up costs and you do not have a known brand in this market yet.

ATM if I was looking to spend £15k, I would set up myself and use the savings to generate business ASAP, and hopefully get enough work to take a second guy onboard almost immeadiately.

Obviously there are some people who want the job/business in a box, so they are probably your target market.

This is the irony of franchises. The franchisor needs to make it sound easy, anyone with a bit of cash and a few days training can run this business. In reality, those are the absolute worst businesses to go into, one where the barriers to entry are so low anyone can start-up and compete.

I also love the idea that a window cleaner gets a "territory". There are at least four window cleaning companies who work around where I live, so anyone buying this franchise will immediately have to compete with these existing providers.

You’re fishing for suckers. Whilst it may be considered a viable ‘business’, it’s not something I personally can respect.

An NDA for window cleaning? Really? Smoke and mirrors.

Window cleaning has one of the lowest barriers to entry around.

I think Mark T Jones knows a lot about franchises, so would be good to get his input. I suspect most people on this forum don't find the idea of buying a franchise interesting, but selling a franchise on the other hand...im sure can make a lot of money. Maybe not if only £15k...but I have limited experience with chains and franchises....seems petrol stations that charge the most were a good thing to get into a few years back.

I suspect also we will have a wave of failed chains later this year (if furlough ever ends) so there will be plenty of opportunity to sell something that works in the aftermath.

You don't respect the selling of a franchise business but only a few months ago were admitting the fact you were committing bounce back loan fraud?

I'd say it's a lot more respectful than that.

Franchises aren't my cup of tea but there is a market for them out there.

The key point here is that any individual's opinion around whether or not they like franchising is totally irrelevant. That includes mine.

What I can say with 100% confidence is that in certain sectors, and set up well they can be very beneficial for both parties

Does that apply to window cleaning? I've no idea. And after reading your prospectus I'm none the wiser.

I can't see that it gives me a compelling reason to pay you rather than going it alone. Or worse, to take your trading and quietly drift off to doing my own thing

The big questions you need to be addressing are around brand and process

I also don't respect snarky wannabe grasses who have no idea about running a business. Is that better sweetie, do you feel more included now?

I disagree and when im doing market research I want to know. The whole point of me putting my opinion in is so the poster can put my comments into perspective. If im not in the market for a franchise and very unlikely to have an impact on a buyer, then my opinion wont be nearly as important as someone who is interested and in the market.

Some Android thing - it's a flipsnack website and the page-turning thing scales to the size of the screen. Hold phone upright and the pages become half the size of the width of the screen.

I strongly suggest you dump the flipsnack thing and create a pukka website using something like Wordpress and your own URL.
