Start by getting a camera, a cast, a plot, some lighting, sound engineers, writers, costumes, makeup, locations, props, Insurance, advertising, posters, popcorn, a large bus, several bank loans and a printer.
Funny that - everyone starts with the camera. Actually the camera is the last thing you get! First comes the script, followed by an option on the script by a production company. Then comes the scramble for funds! It's a hugely enjoyable process because nine-times out of ten, it fails.
To be fair though Graham, when you were starring in The Clangers you probably had everything done for you by your runners?
