Brilliant, I see there are three for sale all with zero bids :p

The scammed trying to scam to offload their scammer, which says it all for the type of person that buys into these schemes.

I have my own personal opinion about P2S and NB's "opportunities..."

However I am always willing to be proved wrong and would love to hear from P2S franchisees who are currently doing well from the scheme.....anybody?

Those are the ones where you enter your own business as many times as you want in as many catagories as you want,at £150 per catagory.Do your own write up,then get selected by a judging panel as a "winner".
    Haddock anyone?

What's the latest on Peel2Save then?

Last June it was launched with this statement from its founder:

"I'm committed to ensuring that Peel2Save raises over £2.5m for local good causes in the UK in the next 12 months and we couldn't have got off to a better start."

    Are they on target?

    Regards

The chances of being on target, given Nigel Botterill's track record?

    What do you think?

I'm going to answer my own question here.

Last Friday I drove my sister and nephew to a large town that has a well-known University. as my nephew is considering it. My sister and I went along for moral support and a bit of retail therapy, although she does most of the buying as my family's finances will take a long time to recover from having tried a thebestof site.

While we were walking round the town centre I spotted the person who used to run thebestof site for the town, so we had a coffee and caught up.

When I left thebestof they was still trying to keep their site running, but gave up completely and handed it back to N5 about a year later.

When I found out that they had invested in Peel2Save I must admit I rolled my eyes a little, and that prompted a lot of information from this person. Apparantly its very, very difficult to sell the offers to the public, as well as having to get past the general apathy of the companies that they needed to generate offers. I asked if this was localised and they said it was right across the country with only a few 'Peelers' even making their money back.

So, chalk up another resounding lack of success for Nigel Botterill and N5 then! The Peel2Save website http://peel2save.co.uk/ is still claiming the idea is "is taking the UK by storm"! Judging by what the sites for other 'Nige' businesses like Raring2Go ('sold' to the printers), Explosive Marketing, Quickie (down in flames), MyLittleWrapper (anyone heard of this lately?), MySMB (is this still going?) then it'll be claiming to be making 'thousands a month' for punters even when the baliffs are going in.

The only one sure to make money out of a Nigel Botterill idea is Nigel Botterill, and that's by design.

Sadly this was all very predictable.

The only real winner is the franchiser.

Hopefully Cornish Steve will now understand why some of us were so cynical.

Thanks have just read through all of it!

I just did a bit of Googling to see how OP is getting on.

    This is the Facebook page:

    http://www.facebook.com/Peel2SaveSouthend?sk=wall

Which looks pretty empty and has not had a peel2save update since November.

But interestingly she tweeted just yesterday:

"re-kindling" suggests that she had lost interest in it.

But Peel2Save have another "great initiative" - wonder what that could be?

    Regards

co-operative investment with guranteed income. You pay P2s £1,000,000 each and they get you a guarnteed income of £10 a year for life :p

    THIS IS A JOKE!

There's something does not quite fit here.

The OP lists herself as "an intelligent, successful business woman", Managing Director at Organisation for Responsible Businesses and Chairman of the South East Essex Branch at Federation of Small Businesses (although that means nothing ;o). Apparently she is also a professional accountant.

Why on earth would someone with such a pedigree even consider being associated with a dodgy scheme like this. It's a strange one indeed!

Perhaps Nigel has come up with the same idea that he tried out on the buyers of MyMag, thebestof, Quickie, MyLittleWrapper and all his other ideas. He suggested that one of these http://tinyurl.com/7geyuqc would be ideal way of earning more money, although now you have to buy his special customized and modified version which has 'Good is Good Enough!' printed on the side in BotterillScript (a knock-off of a free font but don't tell anyone), available for £99 per month special offer as the price will go up to £599pm as soon as he's sold out. Offer must end soon so buy yours now!

The fantastic, great, super new idea is that you get all your available money, your savings, the deeds to your house and your marriage certificate and invest in his new idea. Everyone is trying to save time, and if you burn all your money now it will only take you a couple of hours instead of months and years of heartache and hard work for little or no return to lose all your money.

It will drive people to your garden and you'll be able to sell them things they don't need and can't use for more money than they can afford. Very, very soon they'll catch on and wander aimlessly away, leaving you with the ashes of your life and savings.

It's called SaveHoursInTime, but it will get known by an acronym very quickly.

Never mind, Next year you KNOW he'll be back with another sure-fire idea.

I would still be interested to hear back from people who are doing well from P2S?

It's been a long time since we heard from our friend 'Why All The Fuss'.

How's it going? I hear the vast majority of P2S investors have lost their money and I wondered if you' with your greater understanding and contacts in the field had succeeded where others had failed?
