Facebook Now Lets Me Page Ban Fans And Spammers

Facebook has made a significant upgrade to their pages product, enabling you to report spammers and ban people who have made any abusive comments.

This is something that many people have struggled with as their pages grew in popularity.

There is no doubt that administrators will welcome this new form of moderation.

This is a useful feature which I've used quite regularly on ours. We're forever getting spam comments - in fact most is spam so it gets reported/banned.

We seem to get at least one a day now on our facebook page for Handmade Crafts - not entirely sure when these started turning up, but it was probably a week or two ago at most.

No wonder FB have improved the report tool - it's actually the first time I've really seen mass spam on there (the spate of 'earning from home' posts) - sure it won't be the last..!
