Facebook have closed my personal page, and it is attached to ad accounts and business page

So on the 1st of March I was removed from Facebook for violating community standards (posting about child exploitation no less!) This cannot possibly have happened. Anyway... I have NO way of getting in to my ad accounts or business pages, and they don't seem to be in any hurry to review my case.

I understand that the ruthless ***ers can just press a button and delete you on a whim, but surely if you have ad accounts that are using money then they must have a policy regarding access to them.

Whilst it is proving wonderfully liberating having no access to the sesspit of hell that is FB, I need to get back into those accounts like yesterday.

Does anyone have any bright ideas?

Nothing you can do. FB doesn’t care about you or your account. You just have to wait for the review. Usually 3-4 days. If the ban is upheld you are gone forever.

So many people seem to get away with crazily horrible stuff, and be able to put fake ads on Facebook, dodgy videos on YouTube but then ordinary people get their accounts frozen on a whim. Even Vimeo - who I thought didn't do this, because you pay, actually do I was told today. They arbitrate very oddly - I suppose it's the total indignity some people have now for ways of talking, while objecting to things that five year ago were OK. It's madness.

Top tip - too late for you - I always advise make sure you have more than one account as admin to your business FB page

There may well be some legalities involved, although I’d wager they have something in their T&C’s covering this.

Try a letter before action from a solicitor, and I’d start saving up if I were you. Good luck!

Always have a second admin on your page, that way the other account can still access and transfer if needed.

Never rely on a third party platform that you have no control over.

If you have payments being taken out, stop them, and let facebook argue about it if they've ignored your requests for them to stop the ads.
