ERP system for a small IT company

Hey everyone! Can you recommend an ERP system for a small IT company (up to 50 people)? Ideally, it should have everything in one place—sales, projects, HR, recruiting, and finance. Would really appreciate any suggestions!

I haven't used it, but a contact of mine uses the finance part. Dolibarr (dolibarr dot org - I guess free members can't post links even if we're trying to be helpful) is an open source ERP & CRM

But you might be better off following the Unix Philosophy and choosing separate pieces of software and then linking them together - that's what I've done with ours.

I've worked with two large web development agencies, both of whom wanted to rank in Google for ERP integration. As part of SEO I needed to figure out my semantics for writing about them accurately, plus schema and youtube etc etc.

I've learned first hand everything you describe, from ordering A4 paper, to payroll, HR, internal communications and linking up with Amazon/eBay etc. A couple of years ago the prices started at 15k for 10 products, each with 8 variations.

I've had an in-person demonstration of the capabilities of a huge international brand (not gonna name drop but it's DJ related). Let's say they had over 4 figures of products, from main products right down to accessories, spare parts, merch., and very high end/luxury branded items.

Let's say you are selling widgets in 10 different colours, each with 8 different features. Then you choose the size and features of each widget. I feel that you're planning on growth and expansion, both in your tech, productivity, product development and potentially increasing more than 50 employees as part of your future business goals? Building a custom ERP system which allows for expansion may be a better choice for the future.

Maybe you could indicate how many products and variations you have in mind to start with, together with the number of platforms you'd like to integrate (even if you haven't identified a the SaaS stack at this point).

Also think about your exit strategy when the supplier starts to nickel and dime you or simply raises prices, changes licensing terms, etc., ... See Broadcom/VMWare.

Who will really controls your systems and data? How easy will it be to migrate?

I'm with Antropy. Best in class for each solution rather than a jack of all trades.
