Email Marketing/ Constant Contact Users

Hi there,

I'm working on behalf of a client who would like to start an email marketing campaign. This is fine and I'm well used to creating this sort of content.

However, I am looking for a new platform from which to send these emails as I'm a bit fed up with Mail Chimp.

I wondered if anyone had some good suggestions and also whether anyone has used Constant Contact before now? They seem great, but are US-based and I wondered whether this had ever caused any problems (time zones, contact, and etc).

I've used them and found them kludgy, at best.

GetResponse.com was one that I used for several years and have found it a dependable, affordable choice.

At the moment, we're using SendGrid, but only because it ties in API to our internal systems, not because it has a great user interface for building and sending emails.

Although it might be considered quite a pricey choice, our system of choice is most certainly CampaignMonitor.

Nice interface, and if your client is ever going to send emails for themselves, you can limit the elements they are allowed to use, helping keep emails consistent, on brand and organised.

Hi Helen - I use ActiveCampaign for my own email marketing and for clients too - great product, powerful marketing automation features in addition to just sending emails, and very cost effective. Great support too. I always recommend them.
