Hi
i sort of understand the problem with duplicate content and google.
im not quite sure on the issue of the template or web design?
if i own myname.co.uk and mysimilarname.co.uk and i put up the same website design, same website template etc but use different content and text for the pages will this be flagged up as duplicate content?
if i own myname.co.uk and mysimilarname.co.uk and change everything but use all the same images with the same image names will this be flagged up as duplicate content?
if i own myname.co.uk and mysimilarname.co.uk and i change the website and template but use the same text on the pages will this be flagged up as duplicate content?
if i own myname.co.uk and mysimilarname.co.uk and have a different website design on both sites, however link both sites to the documents on one site will this cause a problem? what i mean is if i have myname.co.uk/aboutus.htm and i have the "about us" button on mysimilarname.co.uk link to myname.co.uk/aboutus.htm will this be flagged as duplicate content?
if all the above are flagged as duplicate content, is the only way around it to have two completely different websites, or have mysimilarname.co.uk just redirect straight over to myname.co.uk
thanks for the help.......
