I do too. I like the idea of having the option to receive payment via CHAPS.

The only thing I would say is that it's a little annoying keeping track of how much you've earnt as they don't add it up for you and display a balance like PayPal for example.

    Well its good and bad

Good: Very very easy set up online to put in credit details online

Bad: they take 45p per transaction plus 4%

Also they hide this from you, they keep 10% of the sale until 90 days then give you it, i never seen that anywhere when i signed up.:(

Mmm. I'd like to give them a try, but I've tried to contact them at both email addresses on their site - several times, and it is always bouncing:

SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command:
    host mail.transx.co.uk[87.236.92.100]:
550 sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.7.17)

Does anyone have an address I can use?

    Cheers for any help.

Thanks - I'd tried both of those emails, but I then switched to a different email account and it looks like the message has got through.

Looks like a straight config problem with my email account, as I've been able to send to others (or it could explain why noone reples to my emails :) )

I'll let you all know how I get on with them.

    Cheers,
    Rich.

Hi, has anyone here had bad experiences with transx.co.uk?
I have signed up with tranx two weeks and have been processing transaction via their virtual terminal, I have asked for a CHAPs payment which was due on the 24/10 but have received nothing yet.
No replies to my emails or messages left on their answer phone… can any one help?

What was the transaction dates of payments?

As there is upto a 10 day delay for funds dependent on when they were taken.

Also outpayments are made on a friday.

Also when you email them email: [email protected]

    Hi!
The last transaction date of payments was the 17/10/08, I was told by a person called James on live chat that a CHAPs payment would be made on the 24/10/2008 but have received nothing yet. Do you use transx.co.uk; if you do… can I ask how your experience has been with them? I have received no replies to any of my emails or messages left on their answer phone and no one has been available on live chat for a week now?

    Commincation is terrible i know.....
But they do offer a decent affordable service and i usually get a response by email fairly quickly.
I had a live chat with them yesterday, evening times aaround 3-5 is a good time to usually catch them.

Yes i am a transx customer.

What time was the transaction taken on the 17th?

If after midday the payment will be made today and should show on your account now,my outpayment for today is showing now so yours should.

    Thank you for your help,
I was told that any payments taken before midnight on the 17th would be paid on the 24th via CHAPs which would cost me an extra £25… the payment has also been showing on my transx account since the 24th, dose this mean even tough I paid for a CHAPs payment I will have to wait a further 7 days after the due date?

Can anyone recommend on-line payment provider that allows you you to process mail and telephone transaction.. (virtual terminal) that doesn't charge massive registration fees?
I would be grateful for any recommendations!!

Thanks for all you replies everyone... still have had no success finding a good on-line payment provider... I would Ideally like for them to be based in the UK and have a ready merchant number instead of having to wait for and application to be processed by a bank.
Transx seems to be OK but are a little expensive for my liking and also keep 10% of sales for 90 days which I wasn't informed of until I actually signed up.
    Can anyone help????
