Document With Unique Tax Reference

Hi,

I am registered for tax however I need a current document featuring my Unique Tax Reference. I only have last years tax document submission document. I have been through my HMRC but shockingly I cant find any document I can download with my UTR on. Can anyone advise where I can source a current document with my UTR on please?

You could try telling them that you have lost your UTR. They should then send you a document with it on.

Is this for Amazon verification ? If so, I sent them last years without any issue.

The UTR is permanent, so it shouldn't matter what date is on the document.

What do you need it for?

HMRC will send you confirmation by post if you ask for it but it wont be quick.

I vaguely recall that my UTR for a company I set up years ago was maddeningly difficult to locate. The reason: The HMRC online form said something like : "Your Unique Taxpayer Reference is X number of digits long .." and I couldn't find any string of that length in the letters I'd got.

Turns out the divvies add an 'area code' to the string.
