    At the start I squirmed at the concept of "following-up".

    But "following-up" resulting up bringing in so much new business - it's now become an imperative.

    There were some researches about follow ups and I remember that the second follow up is the most important of all messages you send. I mean after second follow up the respond rate is the higher. So yes, you should do follow ups:)

    True however I don't follow up on them sounding like I'm out there just to get profit. I follow up in order to build a relationship with my customers. When they know that you have a genuine intent to help them, they won't second guess to buy from me when the time comes that they need the services/products.
