Hi, so since UK has left the EU and new rules apply from Jan 2021, I'm wondering what will happen for my customers who are EU and Rest of the World based?

When they buy products from my online shop, will they be charged for duty/customs/tax?

    Thank you!

    Depends.

Not every country has the same point at which they charge. Perhaps not every country will charge. Add in trade agreements and things can get complicated.

Presuming of course you are selling just in the UK.

If you sell overseas too then look at what needs doing for that site.

Thank you. Have the rules been published officially yet? I assume I'll need to visit gov.uk to find out?

You can look up the import rules for many countries. And the import rules for the EU.

Its not the UK that you need to look at, its everyone else. We won't be charging to export any time soon.
