I just came on to say the same thing, after we've noticed a lot of our customers' sites are being infected. It's crucial to update to the latest version of Joomla.
We've put a few details in our post here ( http://www.hostingmatters.co.uk/our-blog/87-joomla-vulnerability ) but crucially, the first warning signs might be that you cannot access your site because the bandwidth or disk space have been used up.
There was actually 2 in the end 3.4.6 and 3.47
Took us a fair while to work through all our sites!
3.4.8 is out now but that's not a critical one
