    Hello,

As a business owner with a credit note from May 2018 from a large business retailer can I request the money back to a bank account? Is the company obliged to pay back the credit note or just honor the credit note? It related to the purchase of computer which was returned under the 14 day distance selling regulation they said the money could be returned at any time but with the time passed I wonder.

    Do credit notes ever expire?

    Many thanks

    J

I think only the retailer themselves could answer that, and it’s definitely worth asking the question.

One thing worth baring in mind is that business to business transactions aren’t covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations (which replaced the Distance Selling Regulations in June 2014) and you are instead bound by the retailers terms and conditions.
