My Limited company applied to be struck off in March 2020, it does have HMRC debts and zero assets or cash in bank.

Someone has appealed the strike off but I don’t think it’s HMRC, someone i did some work for has wrongly accused me not completing a contract and said they would appeal the strike off.

The company registered address is a virtual one and because I’ve not paid the balance on account I’m no longer seeing any post.

Do I need to change the address on company house back to mine or do I just simply ignore everything and wait for it to be put into the hands of a liquidator?

    Hi

just wait, either companies house will strike off or a liquidator. It may be worth putting your own company on watch at companies house using the follow me service. It is free.

    regards

HMRC commonly object. If its someone else then so be it.
Still up to the creditor to chase the company for payment. And as you say its still got no money or assets.

Eventually - may be later this year or even next year - companies house will strike it off ignoring objections.

I've found out who objected to the strike off. It's a company I ran Facebook ads for, they are accusing the company on not delivering on a contract and are coming up with accusations that are completely unfounded.

They are still sending me emails asking for a refund even though I've provided them with evidence we did nothing wrong and told them that even if we did do something wrong the company has no assets so you're wasting your time.

They are even copying Companies house into the emails as if they are going to investigate on their behalf. I've now told them that any previous emails will be ignored.

They could pay to wind your company up.

    I don't think they'll pay £4000-6000 liquidation costs for a debt of £1295.00.

If they see it as a matter of principle they will.
Winding up is a bit cheaper.

Shouldn’t a valid correspondence/registered address be published by companies house?

Surely a director can’t just lock up and vanish?

    Apparently they do.

Does mean that first they know of company being dissolved is when bank account frozen and unable to get funds.
An expensive saving on the money spent for virtual address.

Not sure but that's the current situation. I haven't changed the address with companies house. I'm also in between houses and currently staying at my parents.

I hope they do because it means they'll spend more money and get zero in return which is payback for slandering my name in the first place.

There are no funds in the bank account.

My wife whom I'm currently separated from does not want any of my post coming to that house and my parents don't want any of my post coming to their house. The virtual address needs £105 to restore which i can't afford and I filed for bankruptcy 2 weeks ago. So what do i do?
