    Good morning

After many years I have decided to close my current LTD company and move onto something completely different, as a sole trader.

My LTD company doesn't owe anyone money apart from me (MD). My tax year ended 31.08.17 and my accountant is due to complete the accounts before the 9 months soon (by May) BUT I wondered if I stopped trading now, will I still need to file my previous years accounts?

Does this give me enough time between the company laying 'dormant' to the returns due date?

Does 'dormant' also include any transactions through the bank, ie, depositing money from the few sales invoices that are due?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you any Corporation Tax for year to 31 Aug 17 and for the period Sept 17 to date?

If yes then Accounts & CT Return are due for the relevant period before applying for Strike Off.

Hi, thank you for the reply.

There may be some Corp Tax so I suppose the accounts do need to be filed and then close the company.
