Hi Folks,
One of my Ltd's has won a county court case, and the defendant was given 21 days to make payment of just under £6000.00. They are a limited company, i do not believe they have any financial problems and have a stable business.
The whole process took almost two years of hell, significant finacial cost to myself and business.
They have put forward to pay over 9 months, as they say it is a substantial amount of money
The judgement was for monies due on works completed plus approx £1600 in court fees. The business was due the main part of this money almost two years ago, so dont see why i should wait
Can i say no, and request total amount is paid?
Secondly, the work completed but yet paid for until the county court judgement is paid has a works guarantee and electrical guarantee. Do i still have to hand them over, they were found in breach of contract.
thanks for your valued help in advance
all the best
