Hi,

I have not posted any weblink or company name as I don't want to be seen as spamming (sorry i know how annoying this is), if this is of interest then please feel free to PM me.

Does your business provide or can provide a discount to members of the Emergency Services, NHS and Military?

I help run a national based discount service for these service members above. We are looking to build our directory of local companies offering discounts to these members and are encouraging businesses that offer these benefits to sign up for free.

Last week we visited services up and down the country and gave out over 100,000 Cards which are being issued to staff to use both nationally and locally
.
If this is something your business already does then please feel free to add the discount. As I mention above we do not charge a penny for your offer to be added to the local directory.

Once you have signed up you are able to upload a logo, (120x60) large banner (468x60) a description of your company, and add local offers to the region you are based.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to PM me and I will be more than happy to help.

Thank you

I would most definitely offer discounts to them 3 groups.

What annoys me though is when I see a shop advertising "10% off for students" or worse when there is people handing out leaflets in the city center with the same offer and term "valid on production of a valid NUS card". What about locals? The people who pay their bills during the months students are away!
I know some shops (particularly clothes shops) have a dominant student customer base - but it would be nice if they also offered the same discount to locals as well as the student offer.

Another absolutely barmy offer was for a circus that come to the city.
Something like "children and adults £4, unemployed/job seekers £3"
Its like being punished for contrinuting to society!
