    Hi all,

Is there no change to Business Rates Relief in Wales as mentioned in the last budget? Raising from £6k to £12k would be the exempt threshold and then tiered up to £51k if I remember correctly but Wales is sticking to £6k exempt and tiered to £12k........ or so I have been told. If this is correct and benefits only for England is there anything else happening to off-set additional costs from NMW etc?

Nope this is down to Carwymn who LIED in his election manifesto claiming to have reduced tax in wales for all small businesses.

Welcome to the wonderful Welsh assembly.

oh he DID manage to increase the Assembly members pay by a little over £10,000 however.

Thanks for that. They're a bunch of tossers which is the polite st phrase I can come up with. You would swear the Welsh private sector was booming and no need to provide any help at all.

I was in the process of further expansion but these things make a difference as to how big a leap we make on premises.
