Business Idea - Need Partners

MarkPearson

I have a business idea and would like partners or investors

The idea is to create a personalized grave/plot grooming and cemetery maintenance business.

Service that we would provide to our customers:

Flower delivery
Flower planting
Flower watering
Stone cleaning
Stone polishing
Stone leveling
Urn refurbishing
Holiday wreath service
General site maintenance
Grass watering
New soil installation
Grass cutting
Special services requested by customers

The business would be expanded around the UK via franchise

PM me if you are interested

Mark

Slogan - deadly quick service, we go where others fear to tread

Only Kidding, this business will do well I think. A lot of councils do this sort of service, you may want to check it out first. Good Luck with it, hope you do well! :D Don't make any grave mistakes.

Best Wishes

Jayne

Hi Mark

Sounds a novel idea and could very well be a successful Franchised businesses. However, please remember that you need a company operated scheme up and running for at least a year before you can consider developing it into a Franchised business. After this period you have figures to present to potential Franchisees plus have enough info and operational skills to get your prospectus and manuals written.

Best of luck with your idea.

wow this takes me back years to when we helped a company sell a mortuary software package (written in clipper for all the old geeks) and the jokes that came flooding out.

I still have the old database somewhere of all the mortuary and decision makers if this would be of any use to you.

These people were also always looking for a spin on how to do more for thier clients and this could be a good value added services subcontracted to you.

Research this thoroughly.

We looked at this in our area only to find that most of the graves are tended by the local council.

Unfortunately we can't compete on a level playing field with them because they are allowed to charge unfeasibly low amounts and undercut everyone because they have the backing of the council parks department and don't have to pay a market rate for their COS. Similarly their accounting and marketing is taken care of by another dept that doesn't charge correctly for their services!
