I just saw a business card box on the side of a parked van.

It struck me as a really cheap, clever and simple advertising idea for those of you in white vanland.

(btw - it didn't work for me because even though I thought it was a cool idea I couldn't tell from the van, what his business was so I didn't feel motivated to take a card. I imagine that it works quite well on builder's vans parked outside a house having some work done. Bet they get ripped off though.)

Can't be done I'm afraid, needs a mod.

(I'm not seeing a problem - but then I use Linux and Mac.)

Im really lazy with things like that. Good heads up though. :)

Trust me, get it sorted. Took me 6 hours to thoroughly clean someones pc, that had no AV installed. Takes 5 minutes to install.

Had to reformat whole pc, then do a through sweep of the hdd and then install the protection they should have had.

Avast is great cos it warns you when it sees a virus within a website. It's not 100% effective but it's a good indication. Always do a weekly scan :D

Is it really worth dodging 3 lanes of traffic and chasing a ford transit down the M25 for a window cleaner's card? :D

Whatever floats your boat - might be a new game on Top Gear.

But for £11 it strikes me a damn fine investment. The idea is that when your van is PARKED :) people can pick up your card. Mostly if you're a trades person you van will be parked outside the house you're working at.

Best buy more than one though, they must get knicked regularly.

One of my neighbours has a cleaning business and uses something similar but it just holds some business cards. Clips over the window so unless they are really determined it should stay put.

Slightly off subject... but another neighbour has these magnetic signs on his van ... or should I say he did... I found them down the back of some bushes while walking the dogs ! No doubt somebody thought it was a great laugh to pull them off.
